Congratulations! You are engaged to the person of your dreams and now you get to start planning your Northern Michigan wedding. As a wedding photographer in Northern Michigan, I have worked with a lot of planners and have formed some opinions over the years. If your budget allows, I strongly recommend hiring a full service wedding planner. They will take care of so much of the work so you can relax and just enjoy your wedding day and the weeks leading up to it. Planners are literal magicians in my eyes, they take broken things and make them whole, they sew torn wedding dresses, put out fires (literal and figurative), they have the experience to know things that a first time wedding might not know, and they design gorgeous events with every last detail thought out. They are literal superheroes in my eyes.
A quick disclaimer: This list is in alphabetical order, I am not playing favorites. I am listing planners I have worked with in the last two years, who I trust to do a good job on your wedding. If you don’t see a name on here, I might just have not had the pleasure of working with them yet, or maybe it’s been a long time! So without further ado, here are the best Northern Michigan wedding planners.
Conradie Event Design
Where do I even start? Melissa, Dawie, and the whole team at Conradie Event Design are all star planners. They have an eye for design and all their events are stunning. They are personable, approachable, yet refined and elegant, so every kind of couple feels at comfortable working with them. And they are organized and efficient – every wedding I have done with them has gone off without a hitch! I just love this team and you will, too.
Merrymakers
Kris and the team at Merrymakers have been planning weddings for literal decades. They are as seasoned as they come and have designed events all across the board from lakeside country club weddings to midcentury modern themed affairs. They can do it all. Kris is loving and warm and you will feel so assured having her by your side.
Sincerely, Ginger
Rachel from Sincerely, Ginger has been planning refined, elegant events for years now. I remember when first seeing her work, I was dying to work with her. Then I finally did, and it was everything I dreamed of. Rachel excels in designing a luxurious and beautiful event with no detail forgotten. If you are looking for someone to help you create a beautifully designed wedding that your guests will be talking about for months, look no further!
Tableau Events
Last but definitely not least is Tableau Events. Karly and her team are literal wedding wizards. I don’t know how they continually design such beautiful and well functioning events. Every wedding we work on together is just flawless. The decor always has beauty and character, the timeline goes off without a hitch, and every detail is stunning and memorable. The best part? Karly and her team are FUN. We have such a good time working together.
