What a fun day we had shooting this third installment of promo photos for Boyne Mountain. I love being a Northern Michigan commercial photographer because its such a fun break for me. At most weddings and portrait shoots, I am calling the shots for the most part. People look to me for direction in posing, where to stand, where to go, etc. I still do a lot of directing at a commercial shoot, but love the collaborative nature where the Boyne advertising directors are on site, suggesting ideas, locations, and poses, and even sometimes the models have ideas. All in all, its just such a fun day.
For this shoot, we focused on a couples weekend at The Spa at Boyne Mountain and their newly renovated Chalet Edelweiss. I had so much FOMO while shooting, I now have a girls weekend coming up!
