As a Northern Michigan photographer, I recently did a unique family portrait shoot. The family was having a hard time getting everyone in the same place at the same time. You can check out that whole shoot here. The concept was that it was a shoot for a blended family, a husband and wife who each have their own sets of adult children. We were going to shoot each child with their individual family (there were three families total), and then have a portrait session with the husband and wife, as well, so they could create a gallery wall with all their family members.
I think a lot of us wait for a milestone to hire a photographer; first birthday, graduation, a wedding, etc. Once the milestones slow down and children are changing less and less, we forget the importance of continuing to document our lives!
I had so much fun helping out with this project and really learned the value in having portraits taken later in life. This couple was so sweet and so in love. Take a look at the photos below! How in love are these two?!
